Franglish and his Unknow Brand diamond ring: between luxury and personalization

Recently, we had the honor and privilege of designing a unique white diamond ring for Franglish, the essential artist of the French music scene. This exclusive project was an opportunity to express all of our French artisanal know-how while capturing the unique essence of a talent that resonates throughout France.

A creation that embodies the soul of the artist

Franglish, whose real name is Gedeon Mundele Ngolo, is a Franco-Congolese artist with dazzling success. With more than 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, he has become one of the emblematic figures of Afro-urban, mixing African, French and urban influences in a musical alchemy that appeals to an ever-wider audience.

His first album, “Monsieur”, released in 2019, marked a decisive turning point in his career. Driven by hit tracks and a strong identity, this album sold more than 100,000 copies and was quickly certified platinum. This resounding success propelled Franglish into the spotlight and allowed him to establish himself as one of the most promising artists of his generation.

Since then, he has been on a roll with several critically acclaimed albums and memorable stages. Among them, the Olympia, where he delivered a vibrant and energetic concert, demonstrating his charisma and his unique connection with his fans. Today, Franglish continues to climb the ladder, and his rise is far from over. In 2025, he is set to take a major step forward by performing at the Accor Arena on April 11 and 12, a legendary venue that symbolizes the peak of his career so far.

To celebrate this extraordinary journey, Unknow Brand has created a custom ring, designed to capture Franglish’s identity and pay tribute to his story, roots and accomplishments. Each detail of this unique piece tells a chapter of his life:

• A dual cultural affiliation: inside the ring, the names of his two countries of origin, Togo and Congo, are engraved with exceptional precision. These engravings embody his deep roots, his love for his African origins and the inspiration he draws from these cultures to enrich his music.
• His date of birth engraved in gold: on the right side, we find the inscription 02/08/1994, a tribute to the day that saw the birth of this talented and promising artist.

• References to his musical career: on the left side, two inscriptions mark the key stages of his journey. The first, "Glish", echoes the name of his album released in 2022, a major project that includes collaborations with figures of French music such as Dadju, Ninho and Gradur. The second inscription, "since 2016", refers to his beginnings in the music industry, a period when he was able to win over a loyal audience.

In the center of the ring, the inscription "King Vibe", emblem of his charisma and artistic influence, shines brightly thanks to meticulously set white diamonds.
